Payment of wine tastings – virtual as well as physical – depends on which country you come from. Danish citizens can pay in DKK.
BOOKVINO.COM use an authenticated payment server that encrypts all your card information with the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. This means that you cannot read your information.
Cost to the customer in connection with payment: None – Bookvino.com incur all card costs.
Bookvino.com have different types of goods and services. If you buy a physical product in the webshop, the payment will be withdrawn, when we ship your items.
If you buy a wine tasting – whether it is virtual or takes place in the area you want to travel to, you usually pay from many days in advance or a few hours before you make use of the service.
As wine tastings are services, delivery takes place by providing the service.
Upon purchase, the customer receives an e-mail as a receipt. When redeeming the service, it is necessary to bring this receipt. Either in the form of viewing on your mobile phone or as printed e-mail. Most often, however, this is not necessary as the service provider has the same copy – and it will therefore only be necessary to be able to legitimise his right to the service in the form of image ID on demand.
The customer should be aware that in wine tastings – physical as well as virtual – the delivery takes place on a date in the future, but the payment is made by acceptance in the form of online transaction.
Bookvino.com’s liability in connection with the purchase
The transfer of the delivery time from Bookvino.com to the supplier (the company carrying out the wine tasting) starts, with the customer physically at the supplier’s address – or for a virtual tasting – at the specified time in the online software assigned to it.
Since Bookvino.com has received the payment and entered into the agreement with the customer, it is Bookvino.com who is responsible for payment and, if applicable, payment. reimbursement of the amount paid for the service referred to in Article 1(1) of Regulation (EC) No 1782/2 the consumer’s right of withdrawal, see the next paragraph.
Right of withdrawal at wine tastings
You usually have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the law. The period shall run from the day on which the agreement was concluded.
Since you order a service which in practice is often completed within the 14 days, this means that your withdrawal period expires when the service is fully delivered.
In general, within 14 days of the conclusion of the agreement, you must notify us that you wish to cancel your purchase.
In the event that the time of service has taken place, but that you have not turned up without cancellation, your option to cancel the purchase will lapse.
The notice of cancellation must be made by mail to the winey place from which you received the receipt of the booking and to the firstname.lastname@example.org
In your notice, please make us aware that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
Fill in your name, address, and send receipt that you’ve previously received by email or text message.
Right of withdrawal in the webshop
A 14-day full return right is granted on items purchased in our webshop.
The period is calculated from the day you receive the order.
You will have to bear the return costs yourself.
Cancellation must be reported to us no later than 14 after the purchase and from the cancellation you must return the shipment within 14 days of returning the shipment.
The message must be given by email on email@example.com. In the notice, please make us aware that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal
Condition of the item when you return it
You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the item due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and operation of the item. In other words, you can try the item in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store.
If the item has been tested beyond what is described above, we consider it to be used, which means that upon cancellation of the purchase you will receive only part or none of the purchase amount, depending on the commercial value of the item.
In order to receive the full amount of the purchase, you must do the same as you can in a physical store. You have to test the item, but you can’t use it.
If a refund has been agreed, please send your bank details so we can transfer the agreed amount.
There is a 2-year warranty under the Danish Purchase Act. Our warranty applies to defects in material and/or fabrication.
The complaint does not apply to errors or damages caused by improper operation of the product/service.
BOOKVINO.COM will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.
