San Fermo is the deep, intense red wine that is an absolute top class wine and the best we have been able to find for the price in the whole Bardolino area. It lies on small oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months, which gives extra character to the wine. The production is somewhat reminiscent of the more widespread Amarone wine that the Bardolino area borders.
Only San Fermo is produced in the best wine years and grapes are selected for approx. 1,500 – 3,000 bottles.
You can find more info and data sheet about the wine here.
